ANCIENT CITY AND MUSEUM RULES

Avoid behaviors that may disturb others inside the museum, put your cell phones on silent mode, and refrain from speaking loudly while exploring. These are among the most important aspects for a more enjoyable museum visit.

Many museums have designated areas for visitors to explore, marked by barriers or ropes. It is prohibited to step outside these designated areas and touch the historical artifacts, as it could cause damage to these valuable pieces.

In some outdoor museums, ongoing restoration work may lead to certain areas being inaccessible to visitors. Entering these areas could interfere with the ongoing activities and potentially harm the historical artifacts that may be removed from these areas.

Eating and drinking inside museums are generally not permitted. You can fulfill such needs at the cafeterias or snack bars located outside the exhibition areas within the museum premises.

When visiting as a group or with a guide, it is important to stay together and follow the directions and instructions given by the guide.

Due to the precious and delicate nature of the exhibited artifacts, running and playing inside the museum are strictly prohibited for children. If you are visiting the museum with a young child, it is advised to be extra cautious in this regard.
